A wooden bridge accesses a premiere, private waterfront estate ideal for peaceful vacations, all types of water sports, and more! The home's private location has direct walkway access through water oaks and salt marsh wetlands to the white beach. Just pull up a chair either on decks or on the shoreline to savor relaxing spectacular evenings with handsome impressive sunsets. Watch ospreys flying along the shoreline to fish the waters and carry off their catch amid a multitude of other birds such as great white egrets, cormorants, blue herons, ospreys, mallards, and geese. Watch mullet jump just offshore both day and evening. You may even see deer! Appreciate fun water activities like sunbathing, wading, and swimming in the shallow waters of the Pamlico Sound. The sound waters offer fishing and shellfishing activities that include clamming, scalloping, crabbing, and net casting.
The ground level features an outside shower, a utility room with a refrigerator, and a laundry room with a washer/dryer. The first level is home to all three bedrooms, each with an LCD TV. The main bedroom has a 50-inch LCD TV and a slider to the deck with a new six-person hot tub. The second level offers a completely-equipped kitchen with a water filtration system, a breakfast bar, and a great room with tall ceilings and juniper walls. Windows galore offer gorgeous vistas of the sound and canal. The living area has an entertainment package that includes a 55-inch LCD TV with a premium movie package. Both upper and lower levels offer wraparound furnished decks and a picnic table. Take the boardwalk to the sound and appreciate the stately oak tree. You'll have kayaks with two carts for transportation, a gas grille, a fish-cleaning station, sail hooks, board racks, chairs, a volleyball lot with a giant grassy yard, and a concrete parking pad. This season, experience why Osprey Landing is considered a Hatteras Island 'treasured jewel.'

Tips and Tricks to get the very best Hatteras vacation rental experience:
When to visit & When to reserve a Frisco rental home:
- Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer vacation rentals during holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. To get the best value, consider shifting your family's Hatteras vacation week to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer pleasant weather, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
- Booking websites typically offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for additional information.
- Find a copy of your local Hatteras area magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great information, travel guides contain money saving offers on local accommodations, tours and attractions.
How to choose the perfect vacation home in the Hatteras area:
- Start by having your group choose vacation dates and a max budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your family needs. Secluded Waterfront House w\/ Private Hot Tub, Ocean View, Central A\/C, Free WiFi has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is commonly available online. If they are not listed, contact the host before you book the home. Note that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which usually includes pull out couches in living rooms. You'll need to establish what is right for your family.
- Some rentals allow pets, and some do not. Acceptable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional costs may apply. Ask your host about allowable breeds and types before booking.
- Looking for particular amenities? Most websites include search filters for amenities. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find the perfect rental home.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Make certain to ask about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
Tips for your stay:
- Be sure you get the property manager's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, intercom or thermostat. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents many difficulties.
- Protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property while you are gone, just like you would at home.
- To make sure no damages are linked to your stay, inspect for any problem areas upon check in. E-mail the property manager immediately to report any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be useful.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You'll enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are a great resource to find the best local scenic spots.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all personal belongings. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Walk through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the host isn't available, take photographs of the rental to record its condition.
- Remember to leave feedback! Property managers rely on great feedback to drive new bookings. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
