Located on NC Hwy 12, The Orange Blossom Bakery & Café is a delicious early day stop. While they only are open until 11 a.m Wednesday through Sunday, it is worth it to rise and shine in order to partake in their breakfast foods and sweet things.
Famous for their Uglies, which includes apple, baked apple and chocolate covered, the bakery also offers assorted muffins, breads, turnovers, Danish, cinnamon rolls and twists, sticky buns, and a variety of donut holes and donuts.
Breakfast sandwiches come on bagels, biscuits or croissants. Enjoy them plain or with eggs, cheese, bacon, sausage, ham and country ham.
Sandwiches and burritos are breakfast oriented such as eggs Benedict on English muffins, a bacon, and ham or sausage burrito or bagel burner with cream cheese, red onion, bacon, lettuce and tomato. For island fare, the prices are very reasonable.
