Begin each morning with the ideal cup of coffee while watching a lavish sunrise over the ocean. The home features all the equipment you'll need to wake up smiling, including a Gaggia Brera Superautomatic Espresso Station, an espresso bar, and a Keurig K Cup coffee maker.
When the family is ready to hit the beach, you'll find plenty of gear at your fingertips, including a surfboard, a body board, a skim board, and an air compressor for inflatable toys. For a little fun off the sand, there's a private pool with an outdoor stereo system, a horseshoe pit, a calming hot tub, and even a private miniature golf course. Bicycles are also supplied for your convenience.
Fun ensues in the game room with a 60-inch plasma TV, surround sound, a pool table, and a wet bar with a 50-pound-per-day ice maker. Additional amenities include a Netflix account and two Xbox 360 Kinects. As the day winds down, appreciate a drink and a gorgeous sunset over the sound from any of the three-tiered, furnished sundecks with unparalleled, expansive water vistas.
At mealtime, the kitchen's amenities include a dual-temp wine refrigerator, a Kitchenaid mixer, a bread maker, a waffle maker, a rice steamer, a slow cooker, an espresso bar, and, most important, a Margaritaville drink maker. An oven with fast-heat for fast boiling can help hungry cooks whip up meals in a hurry, and everybody will have ample elbow room in the sunny dining area. The great room features a gas log fireplace, a 51-inch plasma TV equipped with a Bluetooth-ready soundbar, and a Celestron Astromaster 114-mm telescope for stargazing in the evenings.
When it's time to retire, you'll be delighted to find that all four bedrooms feature cable TV and Blu-ray/DVD players, as well as comfortable accommodations that are ideal for sweet beach dreams.

Located in Waves, this vacation home is on the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Sticking to a spending plan:
- Summer months are high season in the Hatteras area. To find the best value, consider shifting your family's Hatteras trip dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer warm temperatures, , and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months.
- Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Hosts sometimes offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
- Property managers frequently offer renters an option to buy trip insurance.
