The other is a four-bedroom, two-full-and one-half-bath home home that meets all your vacation needs — from top to bottom — in comfort and casual resort style. Starting at the top, appreciate the bright and roomy upper-level great room with a vaulted ceiling, wood floors, and walls of windows as a place to kick back and relax. Tune into an episode of your favorite show on the TV or share your favorite episode from the day’s adventures with the family. The kitchen has everything need to prep a meal and serve it at the eight-seat dining table, where sunset vistas are on the menu. You can also capture those sunsets as you relax in the relaxing six-person hot tub, located on the upper-level sun deck with furnishings to savor the beautiful vistas of the ocean and sound. Vacation Rental Protection Plan: This required non-returnable $95 plan covers accidental damage within the home with a coverage limit of $3,000. It does not cover theft or willful misconduct. You must notify Surf or Sound Realty of any damage that occurs during your occupancy or this coverage will be void. Coverage is effective at time of check-in and ends at time of check-out.

Located in Frisco, this vacation home is on the waterfront. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Buxton Woods Coastal Preserve, while Frisco Native American Museum and Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum are cultural highlights.   • Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.
