Our calendar is refreshed in real-time & our nightly prices are accurately displayed. Simply enter your desired dates and click 'Book Now!'

Appreciate the “Handsome Life” at Avon’s oceanside Vita Bella, roughly six tons back from the ocean boardwalk access. The clean, uncrowded beach is just a short walk down peaceful Sailfish Lane, while eateries, coffee stores, and, most importantly, the Dqueen are also within walking distance. You'll also have access to the Club Hatteras Pool Facility during your visit. Depending on the weather, the club is typically open from mid-May to mid-October.

This saltbox-style home has an open living, kitchen, and dining layout that begins with good parking and a dry entry for those moist vacation days. There is an outside shower and Weber kettle grille.

You'll appreciate the tall ceilings and bright southern exposure. The comfortable living area is anchored with a TV, DVD player, and stereo for entertainment. The well-equipped kitchen opens to the dining area and outside sundeck, which includes a picnic table. A laundry area with a washer/dryer on the first floor adds convenience during your stay.

Upstairs, you'll find three bedrooms and access to the sundeck with constructed-in seating and a slice of an ocean view. Sunsets and sunrises are exceptional.

Getting the best Hatteras vacation property experience:

Get the best rental home value:

  • To find the best value, shift your family's Hatteras vacation week to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer excellent weather, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic.
  • In the Hatteras area, The sooner your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are booked very early. Booking your vacation home up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your family qualifies for a discount.
  • Property management companies usually offer guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.
  • Many management companies and vacation rental houses supply Hatteras area visitors guide magazines that include coupons, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Selecting and booking the rightrental:

  • To start, have your family select vacation dates and a max budget.
  • Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. Ocean-view home with amazing sunset vista, pool access, steps to beach boardwalk has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is almost always available on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, reach out to the property management company before you book the vacation property. • Are you visiting for a single attraction or event? Use a map search to find nearby rentals.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking.
  • If your family is bringing pets, you'll need to find a rental that allows animals. Make sure to ask for details on breed, size, and type requirements. Usually, hosts charge pet deposits and fees.

Some things to know before you go:

  • Get the owner's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your .
  • Make a record of any damages to the property upon arrival, and immediately send them to the host. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that can be beneficial if a dispute arises.
  • Hosts are there to help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often an incredible source for finding the best local beaches.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Lock your rental while you're away. Protect your property!
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the property to make sure you've collected all personal belongings. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your group have a great stay? Many rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was great, they would love to hear about it. If anything was amiss and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
