Take a break in the sitting area with half bath, queen sleeper couch, desk and internet, ideal for doing a little indoor surfing online. The second level of the home features the laundry room and three well-appointed bedrooms, including a king master, a queen master, and a master bedroom with 2 singles, each with their own private bath. All bedrooms in the home have flat screen TVs and either BluRay player or DVD player. The top level has one more king master bedroom with spa bathtub. The open great room has flat screen TV and BluRay player, and dining area with sliders to the sun decks. Dogs are welcome for a fee of $200/dog/week.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the $200 weekly fee will apply for each dog and will be added once your reservation is finalized.

Vacation Rental Protection Plan: This required non-returnable $95 plan covers accidental damage within the home with a coverage limit of $3,000. It does not cover theft or willful misconduct. You must notify Surf or Sound Realty of any damage that occurs during your occupancy or this coverage will be void. Coverage is effective at time of check-in and ends at time of check-out.

When to visit & When to book:

• Summer time is high season in Waves. To get the best value, consider shifting your family's Hatteras vacation to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer great temperatures, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic.
• Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer vacations during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
• Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your family qualifies for a reduced rate.
• Booking websites frequently offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses.
