After quickly unloading your belongings into the all-level elevator for a ride upstairs, escape to the impressive outdoor entertainment area. The private swimming pool has a constructed-in wet deck for calming in the sun while getting your feet wet and a constructed-in kiddie pool so you can also keep a close eye on the little ones. Sidle up to the poolside lounge area with Tiki bar for a cool drink, take a dip in the bubbly hot tub, or daydream in the shaded under-home area with seating, and ping pong table while dinner sizzles on the close by grilles.

A half bath is available just inside the home for fast trips in from the pool and beach. Continue the fun in the huge game room featuring pool table, shuffleboard, arcade game, TV area with comfortable seating in front of a huge screen TV and wet bar with a full size refrigerator for painless access to mid-day snacks and drinks. Finding the best value:

  • The earlier your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are reserved early. Reserving your rental home up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation home.
  • Summertime is the most expensive season in the Hatteras area. To find the best rental home for your budget, we highly recommend reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular Hatteras attractions. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season.
  • Some hosts and property managers offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Booking websites usually offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for details.
