The private swimming pool has a constructed-in wet deck for calming in the sun while getting your feet wet and a constructed-in kiddie pool so you can also keep a close eye on the little ones. Sidle up to the poolside lounge area with Tiki bar for a cool drink, take a dip in the bubbly hot tub, or daydream in the shaded under-home area with seating, and ping pong table while dinner sizzles on the close by grilles.

A half bath is available just inside the home for fast trips in from the pool and beach. Sticking to your rental budget:

• June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. To get the best rental for your budget, we highly recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular Hatteras attractions and restaurants.
• Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• Property managers sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your host or property manager if discounts are available for your group.
• Management companies and individual rental owners often offer customers an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses.
