The first level invites you to take a nighttime off from star gazing, and appreciate some family time in the game room with pool table, foosball, TV/DVD, and wet bar with microwave and combo ice machine/side-by-side refrigerator. Head down the hall and spend an evening in front of the big screen in the theater room with projection screen TV and stadium style seating. There are three bedrooms on this level, 1 king master and 2 bedrooms that share a full bath (king room and bunk room). All the bedrooms in this home are outfitted with TV/DVDs. On the second level, you can serve beverages in the den with wet bar and mini-refrigerator, or simply savor sweet dreams in your choice of 4 master bedrooms (3 king, 1 queen).

Located in Salvo, this vacation home is on the beach. Oregon Inlet Fishing Center and Uncle Eddy's Frozen Custard and 18-Hole Mini Golf are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Cape Hatteras National Seashore and Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge. When to book a Hatteras rental & When to go:

  • Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. Reserving a rental home in Fall or Spring is our best tip for saving money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your group qualifies for a discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance.
