Nearby, you'll find a convenient half bath, sitting area with queen couch bed, and two colorful queen master bedrooms. All bedrooms in the home have their own Intelligent TV. Upstairs, the bright and cheerful decor continues in four comfortable bedrooms: a king master bedroom with private full bath, a master bedroom with two queen beds and private full bath, a bedroom with two sets of bunk beds, and a bedroom with queen bed. The expansive great room on the top level showcases pretty ocean vistas with a wall of oceanfront windows. The family can share stories in the living area while appreciating the vistas, have an oceanfront feast in the dining area, appreciate family prepare-offs in the gracious kitchen with pantry, or escape into the private media room with Intelligent TV with surround sound and queen couch bed. Located in Waves, this vacation home is on the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Cape Hatteras National Seashore and Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge, while Chicamacomico Life-Saving Station Historic Site and Museum and Studio 12 are cultural highlights. When to go & When to reserve a Waves rental home:

  • The sooner your group can book, the easier your search will be. The best vacation homes are reserved early. Reserving your rental six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. To get the best value, change your vacation dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer pleasant weather, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Property management companies often offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses.
