This literal slice of heaven fronts the gentle sound waters with a private beach to enthrall the little ones and provide direct access to launch kiteboards, windsurfers and other watercraft. A ‘day on the water’ can also be accommodated at the private sound front pool, where an adjacent six-person hot tub completes an ideal outdoor escape. Challenge the family to a pickleball or tennis tournament at the community courts. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • In the Hatteras area, The sooner your group can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best rental properties are booked very early. Booking your rental property six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation home.
