On crystal clear evenings, relax under the MOONSHINE in the charming hot tub, or step inside and savor a family movie nighttime without leaving the home in the theater room with sizable screen TV and stadium style seating. Nearby, start a billiards tournament in the broad game room, designed with family entertainment in mind, and featuring a pool table, foosball, TV/DVD and wet bar with refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher.

Savor sweet dreams in the two bedrooms on this level (1 king master and 1 bunk room w/semi-private bath), or drift up to the second level, and enjoy a little privacy in 5 additional dreamy master bedrooms (4 king, 1 queen). How to get the best value:

  • In the Hatteras area, The earlier your group can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are reserved very early. Booking your rental property six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental home.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Hatteras area. Booking your Hatteras vacation home in Spring or Fall is a good way to save on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable properties. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Property managers typically offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Look for your local Hatteras visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, visitor guides have coupons for local accommodations, tours and attractions.
