SEMI-OCEANFRONT Hatteras - Lighthouse Ct. - Be prepared to be pampered because this handsome one-lot-back home has anticipated your every need. Located on a peaceful, low traffic street, SURF MUSIC sets the standard for beach vacation comfort and fun.

The first floor features a game room with a pool table, card table, and 65” intelligent TV with cable; and a den with a remote workspace with a enormous desk and a new sleeper couch. There are also 3 bedrooms on this level: a king master bedroom and another bedroom with a king bed that shares a full bath with a bedroom with 2 bunk beds. A wet bar with full-sized refrigerator and microwave, a laundry room, and a convenient half bath round out the first floor.

The first level steps down to a private swimming pool and a six-person hot tub with convenient access to an outdoor shower and a half bath from the pool area.

The second floor has 4 master bedrooms: 3 with king-sized beds and 1 with 2 singles. All of the bedrooms in this home have TVs. Nearby you'll find a second laundry room, and a media room with a 65" flat screen TV/DVD, surround sound, and a sectional lounge couch.

The top floor features a roomy great room, a gourmet kitchen with two dishwashers, ranges, and microwaves, the biggest dining room table on Hatteras Island, and a king master bedroom with a 2 person Jacuzzi.

The grandeur of this home is exceeded only by its spectacular setting. From the three levels of decking, you can view the sunrise over the Atlantic and excellent sunsets over the sound, birds and wildlife, and a myriad of stars

Vacation Rental Protection Plan: This required non-returnable $95 plan covers accidental damage within the home with a coverage limit of $3,000. It does not cover theft or willful misconduct. Located in Hatteras, this vacation home is on the beach. Village Marina and Hatteras Harbor Marina are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum and Frisco Native American Museum. Frisco Mini Golf and Go Karts and Buxton Seafood are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

When to book & When to go:

• Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
• June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. Booking your vacation home in Fall or Spring months is our favorite way to save money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable homes. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season.
• Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your family qualifies for a special rate.
• Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses.
