OCEANFRONT Rodanthe - Laura Lane Sister Home: This is one of two nearly identical homes sitting beside each other – rent one or both for your group. Or if this home is already rented for your week, take a look at its sister home 253 Captain Beck’s.Located near the historic Chicamacomico Lifesaving Station, this home combines flavors of the past with a modern flair. Only a fast walk from the beach, HORATIO'S HIDEAWAY has its own stretch of beach frontage. A swimming pool, hot tub, volleyball net, recreation room and eight bedrooms are just the ticket for a memorable vacation. On the first level you'll appreciate an oceanfront deck with the hot tub and access to the pool. Three bedrooms (1 w/queen master, 1 w/pyramid bunk, 1 w/2 singles) and the enormous game room with billiard table, Pac Man arcade game table with over 100 games, and wet bar with full size refrigerator, microwave and ice machine are on this level. The mid level has two king master bedrooms and two queen bedrooms sharing a bath. All bedrooms open onto the mid-level deck with ocean vistas. The broad top-level great room has cathedral ceilings, a home theater system and big ocean vistas. Cooks will appreciate the modern kitchen with a huge breakfast bar and oceanfront dining. Also on the top floor is a powder room plus another king master bedroom with deck access. Decking offers expansive ocean vistas, and HORATIO'S HIDEAWAY is also an ideal home for weddings and events.

You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at Hatteras restaurants, tours, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Property management companies usually offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses.
