SOUNDFRONT Hatteras - NC 12 Bring your family to Hatteras for a memorable vacation at PARADISE COVE. This private hideaway is located on the soundfront of northern Hatteras Village with a boardwalk to the sound for launching your windsurfing, kiteboarding or kayaking adventure or just kicking back on the constructed-in benches. There is also a dock at the end of the walkway for a skiff or other shallow draft boat. For the best of both worlds, the beach access is a short walk across NC 12 - so close it feels like it's all on the same piece of property. For another taste of heaven, appreciate the private swimming pool with kiddie pool and bubbly hot tub with water view. Fix a drink at the poolside Tiki bar with mini-refrigerator and lay out the snack buffet on the poolside picnic table with gas grille conveniently close by. Inside the home, find the tropical game room with pool table, TV, and convenient wet bar with full size refrigerator and microwave. The movie buffs in the group will savor the indulgent theater room with real theater seats on stadium riser and a 75" Sony Ultra High Definition TV with game port. Also on this level are two bedrooms that share a full bath, 1 queen bedroom with roll-in shower and a bedroom with a regular bunk and a pyramid bunk. The mid level of this island getaway is home to three king master bedrooms with private baths and the additional room/den with couch bed and TV. Families will enjoy the convenience of this additional room which would be the ideal location for a crib. The next landing up provides a half bath and the top level of the home offers the final king master bedroom with HDTV and ocean vistas from its private balcony. Escape from reality in the sizable great room with tropical decor, vaulted ceilings and east and west facing floor to ceiling windows framing sweeping water vistas of both ocean and sound. The furnishings are comfortable for cuddling in front of the flat screen HDTV entertainment system. The kitchen is well-appointed with stainless steel appliances, bespoke cabinetry and breakfast bar. The dining area faces the sound for dinners with sumptuous sunset vistas. Step out the sliders to roomy decks providing panoramas that you won't soon forget. The home features three levels of decks with ample seating and access to the decks and balconies is supplied from every bedroom. With its private setting, convenient water access, opulent amenities and close proximity to shopping, eateries and village activities, this PARADISE COVE is true to its name.

Dogs are welcome for a fee of $200/dog/week.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the $200 weekly fee will apply for each dog and will be added once your reservation is finalized.

Located in Hatteras, this vacation home is on the waterfront. Village Marina and Hatteras Harbor Marina are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum and Frisco Native American Museum. How to get the best Hatteras vacation property experience:

When to visit & When to book:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Hatteras area. To find the best value, consider changing your vacation dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer pleasant weather, , and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Booking websites usually offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses.   • Respect your neighbors. Frequently, surrounding homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking policies is the right thing to do.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can typically help. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're out! Don't let thieves spoil your family vacation.
  • Re-check every room of the property to make sure that you've packed everything at departure. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the host is not available, ensure that you take pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
