If you're searching for an immaculate luxury home away from home, Moonshine is the ideal fit. Located on a roomy lot just moments from the ocean, you can really appreciate a private family hideaway. Plus, you'll have exclusive access to the Kinnakeet Shores Olympic-size pool, kiddie pool, and tennis courts.

With an elevator located off the covered carport and reaching all levels of the home, packing in and out is a breeze. A paved driveway offers plenty of parking for your whole crew. After a long day of fun in the sun, rinse off sand and salt in the outdoor shower just a few steps from the back door.

Once you walk inside, you'll notice the game room featuring a pool table, a huge TV, a dartboard, a microwave, and a wine cooler. Quality family time is sure to be adored here! A half bathroom is on this floor for added convenience as well as a main bedroom with a king bed. Ride the elevator to the second level where you'll find the laundry room with a high-efficiency washer and dryer. Take your pick from two main bedrooms with king beds - one with deck access. Sliding barn doors in the main bathrooms add a modern twist and save room. Two bedrooms on this level have pyramid bunk beds that are ideal for the younger crew. You will be treated like royalty while soaking your cares away in the hot tub on the covered back deck.

As you reach the top level of this fantastic home, you'll pass a half bathroom off the stairway. Movie nights and quality time can be appreciated in the cavernous living room with modern fans, chic decor, and luxury blinds. Moonshine's charming kitchen holds stainless steel appliances, pretty countertops, a backsplash, and bar seating. Off the kitchen is the dining area with seating for everybody - ideal for group meals and games! There is also another main bedroom with a king bed on this level. Feel marvelous ocean-side vistas on the covered deck with comfortable seating for all and a table for dining.

THINGS TO KNOW
Private pools are open for use from the arrival weekends from April 1 to October 13, 2023.
Guests have access to our pool at Club Hatteras; located at 41156 Hwy 12, Avon. The pool is typically open from Memorial Day through Labor Day- weather permitting and subject to close without notice.

  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the property to make sure you've collected all personal belongings. Make sure to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property a final time and scan for damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the host is not available, remember to take video and pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Property managers rely on good reviews to propel more reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective.
