OBX Beach Life is an oceanfront bungalow that sits on the Atlantic Ocean in Rodanthe, NC. Our fresh 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, nonsmoking, pet complimentary home comfortably sleeps 6. The open floor plan is filled with natural light throughout. Have your morning coffee, read a book or play a game on the screened in porch all while listening to the waves crash below. Choose from multiple locations for family meals or beverages. Step off the porch directly in the sand to appreciate the beach. Your vacation awaits!

Guests have access to the whole home with the exception of the locked Owner’s closet on the ground level.

We completely savor communicating with our guests via e-mail, messaging and phone. We make ourselves available to assist if needed.

Sea Oats Drive is a dirt road leading to and ends directly at the beach. You will pass other fun beach homes on the road. Each home is elegantly different. The road is private, when it rains there can be sizable puddles. We recommend a high clearance car.

The bungalow sits in a location that accepts you to run on the beach and around the neighborhood or walk and bicycle to the local stores and restraunts via the path along Route 12. It is a very trendy and safe way to travel if not traveling in a car.

We are a Sunday to Sunday weekly rental only.

Our oceanfront bungalow is ready for you! Fresh paint inside and out, decor, new comforters, pillows, silverware, dishes, glasses, new picnic table, deck seating, 6 beach chairs, 2 charcoal grilles and more! As you can see on the on the blueprint, laundry is on ground level, queen master, kitchen, living and eating areas are conveniently located on the first floor. The second floor has 2 bedrooms. The first room has 2 single beds, Jack and Jill bathroom joining the second bedroom with a queen bed. The wrap around deck and screened porch both have unobstructed vistas of the Atlantic Ocean giving you the opportunity for the most extraordinary sunrise every morning. Kick up your feet and relax or play on the beach, surf fish, prepare dinner and eat right on the beach and enjoy a beach fire in the sand all right on site (fire permit required).

Helpful tip:
Due to the pandemic, we do not provide any food, spices or perishable cooking supplies. We do provide a starter pack of cleaning and paper products for your arrival. Convenient shopping is available close by however, bigger shopping orders are available prior to coming to Rodanthe. In addition, Food Lion is located in Avon (15mins) and Conners in Buxton (25mins) further South. Cameras are onsite and outside, they are turned off during any booking. They are on while the home is empty.

New for 2022!! As some of you know, we purchased this property last year. We immediately painted and repaired the entire exterior, with new furnishings in numerous areas of the home. One of my favorites is the screened in porch. Towards the end of the season, we added beach chairs and equipment for our guest's enjoyment. This year we are focused on the railings, new shower fixtures, and a continuation of painting and updating this cute little bungalow that stands proudly right on the Beach!!

Due to Covid 19, we are continuing to offer a linen package for guests to order or select to bring your own. The linen package includes comforters, pillow, full bed linens, bath towel,hand towel and wash cloth. All beds and pillows have bed pads and pillow protectors. Linen package is $150. Please send us a message letting us know if you would like the linens supplied in your rent.

If you choose to bring your own linens, we will provide protected beds and pillows only.

About the Area

Located in Rodanthe, this vacation home is on the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Rodanthe Pier and Ocean Air Sports are also worth visiting.

When to book a Hatteras rental & When to go:

• In the Hatteras area, The sooner you can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best vacation rentals are booked early. Booking your vacation property six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation home.
