Located in Frisco on a serene canal in Brigand's Bay, Steer has advantageous one-level living, great vistas, and miles of peaceful subdivision streets ideal for a calming bicycle ride or evening walk. When you arrive, excitement will surely set in when you find the sizable yard and private boat dock suitable for a boat or kayak and ideal for fishing and crabbing. A boat ramp is available next door at the owner's home. A lockable storage room is also accessible from the ground level.

The living area welcomes you with warm wood floors, high ceilings, and pretty vistas. Boasting new comfortable furnishings, your home away from home provides ample seating for everybody to gather and spin tales of the day's catch. The galley-style, eat-in kitchen is ready to prepare the catch of the day or your family's favorite dish. As the sun begins to set into the Pamlico Sound, dock yourself on the deck to watch the photogenic sunset as you blissfully lounge. The bedrooms are all freshly furnished with new queen beds purchased in 2024, ensuring a good nighttime's rest. Set sail for Steer!

Located by the sea, this vacation home is in Brigands' Bay, a neighborhood in Frisco. Frisco Mini Golf and Go Karts and Scotch Bonnet Marina are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Buxton Seafood and Frisco Native American Museum. Uncle Eddy's Frozen Custard and 18-Hole Mini Golf and Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum are also worth visiting. Getting the most from your rental home budget:

  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. To get the best value, consider shifting your family's Hatteras vacation dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer warmer temperatures, , and greatly reduced traffic.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses.   • Go through the property a final time and look for damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.

If your rental property and/or property management company was terrific, they would love to hear it.
