Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • In the Hatteras area, The earlier you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best properties are booked very early. Booking your rental home 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if rate reductions are available for your group before you book.
  • Property management companies often offer their guests an option to add trip insurance protection.
