You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at Hatteras restaurants, beaches, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
- The earlier you can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best properties are booked early. Booking your vacation home six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your vacation rental.
- Some hosts offer discounts for veterans. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your family before you book.
- Property managers typically offer guests an option to add vacation insurance.
