OCEANVIEW Waves - Island Pines Drive - WINDSONG is ideally located and designed to take advantage of all the best Hatteras Island has to offer.

This island heaven is just two tons back from the ocean (with direct beach access), one block away from sound access for watersports, and features a sizable, private backyard pool. The peaceful cul-de-sac is ideal for the kids' bicycle rides.

Enter the dry entry and step up to the second level game room with 9' ft shuffleboard table, pub table for poker & chess, refrigerator, games and 32” flat screen TV. Also on this level are two master bedrooms and two bedrooms with a shared bath, a convenient laundry area, screened porch with hot tub, plenty of shaded oceanview decking and a porch swing.

Along with handsome ocean vistas, the top level features a humongous great room with 55" flat screen home theater system and dining area with vaulted ceilings, a well-equipped kitchen, huge enough for multiple cooks, and half bath. A screened porch offers outside dining while appreciating a Pamlico Sound sunset. The huge master suite on the top level and two bedrooms on the second level have sliders to the wraparound decks.

Whether you're shooting hoops, grilling tuna, calming by the pool or soaking in the hot tub, you'll appreciate the privacy WINDSONG's additional enormous lot provides. There are eateries conveniently located a block away.

About the Area

Located in Rodanthe, this vacation home is near the beach. Chicamacomico Life-Saving Station Historic Site and Museum and Studio 12 are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Rodanthe Pier and Ocean Air Sports. Hatteras Island Boardsports and Avon Fishing Pier are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Sticking to a spending plan:

  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer months are high season in Waves. Booking your vacation home in Fall or Spring is one of our best tips for saving money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable properties. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Hosts sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Ask your property manager if discounts are available for your family.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance.
