OCEANFRONT Salvo- Colony Drive (Formerly Las Olas II) Feel BELLA BREZZA at this bespoke designed beach front home. Parlor in the pool while the ocean waves curl just over the dunes. Take a moment of tranquility on one of the two upper decks to watch the sunrise over the ocean and feel the salt air.

Ease into the bubbly hot tub. Inside, come together in the great room and queue up a movie on the home theater system. Giant windows offer the ideal natural light for the open home. Cook dinner in the modern kitchen with room to move around. The family can eat together at the dining table, or grab a fast bite at the breakfast bar. Steal away to the desk to work from home, or read one of the offered books.

Finish the day in the master king bedroom on the second level. Let the rest of the family choose from one of the four bedrooms on the first level. Three masters and the pyramid bunk bedroom on this level make for the ideal private getaway on vacation. You’ll be feeling the BELLA BREZZA even after you leave this home.

Vacation Rental Protection Plan: This required non-returnable $95 plan covers accidental damage within the home with a coverage limit of $3,000. It does not cover theft or willful misconduct. You must notify Surf or Sound Realty of any damage that occurs during your occupancy or this coverage will be void. Coverage is effective at time of check-in and ends at time of check-out.

Tips to get the best Hatteras rental home experience:

Sticking to a budget:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Hatteras area. To find the best value, consider changing your family's Hatteras vacation week to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer excellent temperatures, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer vacations during holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your family qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.
