The bottom level access leads to a queen master bedroom with private bath and access to the private swimming pool with Tiki bar and bubbly 7 person hot tub. The mid-level is home to four more bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms are masters (a king and a queen) with private baths, one is a queen bedroom with semi-private bath and the fourth bedroom has two sets of bunk beds. The washer/dryer is conveniently located on this level. The top level great room is impressive with high, vaulted ceilings, wood floors, roomy kitchen with refreshed appliances and enormous breakfast bar featuring vegetable sink and bar seating for 6, and dining table with sliders to the deck on either side. Gather around the huge flat screen TV and DVD player with streaming NetFlix movies for evening entertainment or step up to the loft area game room with foosball table, lounge seating and flat screen TV/DVD. Sticking to your rental home budget:

• Summer is the most expensive season along the coast of NC. Reserve your vacation in Fall or Spring months to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season.
• In the Hatteras area, The sooner your group can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental properties are reserved very early. Reserving your rental property 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
• Some hosts offer rate reductions for veterans and active duty military. Ask your property manager if special discounts are available for your family before you book.
• Property managers usually offer renters an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.

• Inspect the property one final time and scan for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, take pictures of the property to record its condition.
• Did your group have a fantastic stay? Many rental managers make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your rental and/or property manager was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was defective and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
