The elegant dining area offers sunset dinners, and the sizable, tiled kitchen is a chef's dream with breakfast bar with second sink, ice machine, and 2 dishwashers. Take a leisurely walk down to the waterfront on the close by community boardwalk and watch the blue herons and egrets gather along the shoreline, or simply enjoy sunset paddling around the Pamlico. Located on the beach, this vacation home is in Wind Over Waves, a neighborhood in Salvo. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Rodanthe Pier and Ocean Air Sports are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Getting the best rental value:

• Booking websites frequently offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance. • On check-out day, take a final walk-through to make sure you haven't forget any personal items. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Go through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, remember to take photos and video of the rental to record its condition.
• After your trip, leave feedback! Property owners rely on great feedback to stimulate new bookings. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other families will will be grateful for your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective.
