SEMI-OCEANFRONT Rodanthe - Blue Sea Rd. - Wow! Welcome to your own, private mini resort!
Just steps from miles of peaceful, secluded beach, the Pea Island Nature Reserve, and located on a private drive, Rodanthe Fantasea is a peaceful heaven with tons of extras!
Sitting on a full 2-acre lot that backs on the wetlands, with Trex decking on every side of the home, Rodanthe Fantasea takes full advantage of the amazing vistas of the magnificent sunrises and sunsets of the OBX!
Sporting an upside-down floor plan holding 7 ensuite masters and an ensuite kids’s bunk room, this 4,500 sq.-ft. home has space for everybody, sleeping up to 20 guests.
As you enter the private drive off Blue Sea Road, the first thing you notice is the professional grade sand volleyball court and a roomy driveway with plenty of parking for family and friends. Handicap friendly throughout, guests enter on the first floor with their own private security code. Taking the elevator to the third floor, you step out into a wide-open floor plan that holds the sizable, entirely equipped kitchen, dining space, and extremely roomy, yet comfortable living area with high vaulted ceilings throughout and half bath in the common area. Dine inside as a group or appreciate the sound of the waves and countless ocean vistas from the 3-sided deck, while soaking in the fantastic sunrise and frequent pods of dolphins frolicking in the waves! This level also holds the biggest master suite with a king size bed, walk-in shower, and enormous vanity.
Taking the elevator or stairs to the second level brings you to the main sleeping level. This level holds 4 master suites (2 king, 2 queen), all with access to the private second floor deck with striking ocean vistas, and a bunk room with 2 pyramid bunk beds, each with ensuite private full baths. There is a washer and dryer on this floor for added convenience.
Going down one more floor to the first floor, you enter the well-appointed game room where you can watch the game on the TV, while refereeing the ping pong or foosball championships, all next to a wet bar including a refrigerator with ice maker. There are 2 more king ensuite masters on this level, one that shares the bath with the game room. There is also a washer and dryer on this level. Completing the interior on this floor, is the state-of-the-art theater room with a huge 85” TV, reclining theater seating with drink holders for up to 10, and hook ups for all your gaming systems.
Exiting the rear of the home through the sliding doors that lead from the game room to the back pool deck, it dawns on you just what makes this home one of a kind! Hosting the biggest heated pool in the Mirlo Beach area at 30’ x 14’, surrounded by an equally huge pool deck, you realize you may never want to leave! The tiki area with granite bar tops beckons you to hang out by the sunken firepit or grab a drink from the outdoor refrigerator and jump in the hot tub while you wait for the steaks to finish sizzling on the sizable grille in the outdoor kitchen area. Savor a poolside cornhole game or the horseshoe pits and bocce court just outside the pool deck. Now you know if it weren’t for the close by beach, you would never leave!
Completing the amenities for Rodanthe Fantasea is the outdoor shower stall and $250 of beach gear supplied with your in-season rental. With all of these additional amenities, you’ll know that you’re in the right place for your group!
Stay here a week and you’ll add Rodanthe Fantasea to one of the places you’ll want to visit again and again!

Strategies to get the perfect vacation home experience:
When to go & When to book:
- The sooner you can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable properties are booked early. Reserving your rental home six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
- Booking a rental in the Spring or Fall is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
- Hosts sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your family.
- Booking websites typically offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
- Often, management companies and vacation rental houses supply Hatteras area visitor guide magazines which include coupons, either offered directly by local companies, or through a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Hatteras visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Use filters to narrow your search:
- Select a designated group leader, select your trip dates, and select a maximum budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration your group needs. Semi-Ocean Front Home with Private Pool, Hot Tub, Theater Room has 8 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is often available on booking websites. Otherwise, reach out to the property manager before booking your home. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds and bunks. You'll need to work out what is best for your vacation.
- If your group is bringing pets, you will need a property that allows animals. Ask for information on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Usually, property managers charge pet deposits and fees.
- Visiting for a single attraction or event? Try a map search to find nearby properties.
- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all required amenities are available before booking.
Tips for your stay:
- Be sure you get the host's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your . Put the host's contact information in your smartphone.
- Property managers are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask questions during your stay.
- Lock your vacation home while you're away. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
- To ensure that no damages are linked to your family's stay, record any problem areas during arrival. text the property manager immediately to report your findings. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be valuable.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud visitors disrupting your quiet neighborhood. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and attractions you would've not otherwise known!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Just prior to departing, complete a walk-through to confirm you didn't leave anything behind. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Inspect the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can. If the host isn't available, remember to take photos of the property to record its condition.
- After your trip, leave a review! Property managers rely on good reviews to stimulate new reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other families will will be grateful for your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
