This same-named 5,638 sq. ft. eight-bedroom/seven-full and three-half-bath home will not only surround you in sun-splashed contentment, but it will also have you reaching for the stars that seem to be in grasp from a shining nighttime sky. Simply find your spot on one of WALKIN’ ON SUNSHINE’S multiple oceanfront decks and experience all of the above.

The beach accessible by a convenient boardwalk may immediately beckon, but so will the private pool and hot tub that occupy a prime oceanfront space. Sink into a poolside chair with a good book or practice your short game on the putting green. Quench your thirst with a cold drink from the tiki bar; cool and rinse off with the convenience of two outdoor showers. Just inside, a recreation room offers a kitchenette with a full refrigerator and microwave, a pool table, sizable Intelligent TV and a half-bath. There are two bedrooms on this level that share a full hallway bath, each featuring a pyramid bunk, pull-out single and Intelligent TVs — ideal for the kids. When to visit & When to book:

  • June, July, and August are high season in the Hatteras area. To book the best rental within your budget, we highly recommend booking in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at Hatteras restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • The sooner your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best properties are reserved early. Reserving your rental property up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation rental.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
