You don’t even have to leave the floor to put the kids asleep, let them rest in one of the three rooms, one room has three single beds that shares a bathroom with a room that has a set of regular bunk beds. One master bedroom with a private bathroom completes the downstairs.
Walking to the next floor has never been easier, BLUE WAVES has stairs inside and outside to access all levels. Sink into the hot tub on the covered deck that overlooks the pool area or rest your eyes in one of the four bedrooms on the first floor.
Walk up to the next floor, and prepare a meal in the charming kitchen that has a breakfast area for a fast bite or gather the family for a meal in the dining area. A screened porch with a picnic table offers an outside dining experience that you’ll remember forever as you listen to the sounds of Hatteras Island. - Summer is high season in Waves. To find the best value, shift your family's Hatteras vacation to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer great weather, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer.
- Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
