OCEANFRONT - Rodanthe - You’ll find heaven at RODANTHE PARADISE. This 5,340 sq. ft. home has everything to make your vacation ideal. Laze in the pool while you watch the sea oats sway in the breeze. When it’s time to go inside, from the pool to the game room, just up a modest flight of stairs. Play a game of pool or make a fast snack at the wet bar with a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and sink. A semi-private media den is just off the game room. Unwind in a plush chair or couch while a movie plays on the enormous TV with surround sound. Don’t worry about falling asleep, three bedrooms share this level as well. Tuck the kids into a bunk room with a pyramid bunk with a trundle that shares a Jack and Jill bath with a king bedroom. The final bedroom, another bunk room with a pyramid bunk with a trundle will share the hall bath. Just up the stairs, on the second level, is four master king beds, each with a private attached bath, one bath is handicap friendly. Step out to the cavernous deck and appreciate a peaceful moment in the hot tub with a view of the beach and Rodanthe Pier.

The final, third level, of the home has the great room, comfortable and coastal-themed to spark the vacation mood. Settle in to talk about the day around the TV with surround sound and a DVD player. The kitchen is ideal for a huge family vacation; well-appointed with dual ovens, two dishwashers, and a wine cooler. The head of the family has the ideal top-level broad king master to retire to for a good nighttime’s sleep. Complete with an attached private bath with a double vanity and a tile shower. Walk out to the deck and go up the short stairs to the top look-out deck. Unwind on the bench and people watch the beach. Heaven is simple to find at RODANTHE PARADISE. New for 2023: New owners have made extensive upgrades to the property including a new sectional in the great room that the whole family will savor. Days spent outside are made even better by a new hot tub as well as additional pool and deck furnishings! The game room features a new couch and new basketball arcade game. All beds are equipped with new beds and quilts. Updated art and décor throughout.

Dogs are welcome for a fee of $200/dog/week.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the $200 weekly fee will apply for each dog and will be added once your reservation is finalized.

Vacation Rental Protection Plan: This required non-returnable $95 plan covers accidental damage within the home with a coverage limit of $3,000. It does not cover theft or willful misconduct. You must notify Surf or Sound Realty of any damage that occurs during your occupancy or this coverage will be void. Coverage is effective at time of check-in and ends at time of check-out.

Getting the most from your rental budget:

  • To find the best value, try changing your family's Hatteras vacation to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer warmer temperatures, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • In the Hatteras area, The earlier you can book, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are booked early. Booking your rental six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
  • Some property managers offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your family.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for more information.

  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed types is commonly accessible online. If you don't see them listed, contact the property management company before you reserve the home. Note that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds and bunks.
  • Are you visiting for a single event? If so, use a map search to locate nearby properties.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are included before booking.

  • Protect the owner (and your things!) by locking the property when you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the property to confirm you've collected all personal belongings. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Remember to leave a review! Hosts rely on excellent ratings to compel new bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation.
