OCEANFRONT Waves - Sea Vista Dr. - Located on a wide, uncrowded beach in exclusive St. Waves, FOREVER WAVES offers gorgeous ocean vistas, a enormous private pool, poolside dining table set, poolside stereo speakers, hot tub and community pool and tennis court. The cavernous lower level of this pretty home is where you’ll find the game room with pool table, wet bar with full size refrigerator and microwave and TV viewing area with huge flatscreen TV and Blu-ray® player. Steps away is the convenient half bath. There are 3 master bedrooms on this level, 2 with king beds and 1 with a queen bed. The middle level is home to four more bedrooms, 2 king masters and 2 bunk rooms sharing a full bath, each with direct access to a shaded oceanfront deck. All bedrooms in the home have flatscreen TVs. The top-level king master suite has its own 42" TV with a spectacular view, and private bathroom. The humongous great room features cathedral ceilings, wall to wall glass framing the spectacular ocean vistas, and a spectacular 75" LED TV home theater system with intelligent technology to stream personal electronic devices and surround sound to relax in front of while the cooks in the family prepare dinner in the well-appointed kitchen. A generous soundside balcony is the ideal setting to watch the sun set over St. Waves Lake and Pamlico Sound. After just one stay, FOREVER WAVES will forever be a part of your vacation plans.   • June, July, and August are high season in the Hatteras area. To find the best value, shift your vacation dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer warm temperatures, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Owners sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses.   • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Lock your rental property while you are gone! Don't let thieves ruin your vacation.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the rental to make sure you've collected all personal items. Make sure to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the rental a final time and scan for damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the manager is not available, ensure that you take video of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a wonderful time? Many rental managers make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your property and/or property manager was fantastic, they would love to hear it.
