SEMI-OCEANFRONT Waves - Sea Isle Hills Dr. - Somewhere, waiting for me is a home by the sea. That home is right here, BEYOND THE SEA. Elegantly decorated with light, cool colors, you will feel nothing but relaxation and exhilaration during your vacation. Located across a peaceful street from the beach, this home has fabulous vistas and painless beach access. The pool area is generous with seating for the group and a picnic table for lunch by the pool. If you prefer warmer waters, take a dip in the close by hot tub. Inside the ground level laundry room, you’ll find a full size refrigerator, ideal for storing beach and pool beverages. This level also features a brand new half-bathroom. On the mid-level of the home, choose from 4 comfortable bedrooms, each with its own TV/DVD. The king bedroom has a private entrance into the hall bath, which a queen bedroom shares. The Bunk bedroom and the second queen bedroom share a bathroom between them. The top level great room is elegantly appointed with seating around the enormous screen TV. A loft presides above the room with a futon and access to a private deck. The kitchen offers plenty of counterspace and modern appliances. The dining table seats 12 comfortably, or dine in the screened porch with the sea breeze. There is no need to look elsewhere. Follow your heart and happy you’ll be, at BEYOND THE SEA.

Located in Waves, this vacation home is on the beach. Cape Hatteras National Seashore and Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Rodanthe Pier and Ocean Air Sports. Hatteras Island Boardsports and Avon Fishing Pier are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Getting the most from your spending budget:
- Summer months are high season in Waves. To get the largest vacation home within budget, we strongly suggest booking in Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at Hatteras restaurants, tours, and activities.
- Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
- Booking websites typically offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for additional information.
- Find a copy of your local Hatteras visitors guide magazine when you check-in. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. - Keep the property locked while you are out! Don't let burglars spoil your vacation.
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all personal items. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Go through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, take photographs of the property to record its condition at check-out.
- Remember to leave a review! Hosts rely on good reviews to drive new reservations. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.
