Stepping out from your King bedroom, you're abruptly submerged in the dazzling sunlight flooding through the windows of your triangular great room. As your eyes adjust, you're treated to an immaculate ocean view, the waves a matter of steps away. The scent of dark coffee emanates from an adjacent kitchen as the colorful community of Salvo beckons you to learn more about its rich history, eateries and activities. Your vacation has begun!

This 5-bedroom property is ideal for a family gathering or company getaway looking to get away from city noise in style. Use your private walkway to get to the beach - right behind your vacation rental! Visit the Atlantic Ocean for a terrific day of sun and surf, and then wind down with a trip to the private pool or hot tub. When every bedroom has a view of the water or dunes, it's hard to forget you've escaped life's worries. Chill out on the cavernous deck and take in the ocean, and then come back and dine in the great room, never having to give up the tremendous view!

Your group will have the option to experience the unique culture of Salvo: its eateries, its colorful architecture and deep history - which includes naming itself after a volley fired at it way back in the 1860s! To the Beach and Back is pet-friendly, so there is no need to leave your pooch at home! For a modest one-time fee of $135, you can bring up to two dogs to our pet-friendly property. No cats or other animals, dogs only.

**Private unheated pools will open on April 16th and close on October 1st. Hot Tubs are available year-round. Pools and hot tubs are cleaned weekly and no later than 6pm on check-in day. Vendors are subject to enter backyard to clean the pool and/or spa on scheduled cleaning days. No family pets allowed in pools.**

• Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• Property managers sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your family before you book.
• Property managers often offer guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for details.
