You can't get any closer to the ocean & the sound of the waves will melt away your anxiety. Wuthering Dunes has been modernized with new floor, refreshed fixtures, as well as furnishings additions! We have given our home a facelift to make your Outer Banks hideaway even more restful & calming. The spectacular vistas from this well-maintained oceanfront home are beyond compare! The beaches were also widened in 2022 as part of the beach nourishment project, which gives you even more room to savor.

Our home is a handsomely constructed 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath haven from the stresses of daily life. Head upstairs to the third level to find a roomy bedroom sanctuary with a private bath including a jetted tub, shower, and double vanity. This room also has 2 private decks, one ocean facing and the other sound facing for amazing sunrise and sunset opportunities! Another unique feature is a two story wall of windows on the oceanfront that ensure gorgeous vistas in every direction. Beamed cathedral ceilings lend character and plenty of natural lighting.

The main level living space is open, with adjoining great room, kitchen, and dining areas. The enormous kitchen is completely outfitted for the chef in your group with newer appliances, granite countertops, and plenty of cabinet storage. An all seasons room is accessible through sliders with more ocean and sound vistas. Four more bedrooms and 2 more full bathrooms with double vanities are on the first level to home the rest of your group.

Our charming oceanfront home is a ideal choice for visitors with its proximity to shopping, eateries, arts, sightseeing, boating, fishing, bird watching, jet skiing, surfing, kite boarding & eco tours; many are in walking distance! Plus you have full access to the Olympic sized pool at Kinnakeet shores. The beds are all freshly made for your arrival. Everything you need, right here in heaven! The biggest decision for you is which deck to appreciate drinks from while you watch dolphins play and enjoy the ocean vistas.

We have a entirely equipped kitchen that joins the dining room, with island seating in between. Included are dishes, cookware, cutlery, barware, & glassware for your every culinary need. Appliances include a blender, Keurig and standard coffee makers, microwave, dishwasher, electric range & oven, toaster oven, & refrigerator/freezer with ice & water in the door.

We want you everybody to have a marvelous, relaxing hideaway in our Outer Banks home! Part of ensuring the same experience for everybody relies on our housekeepers, inspection personnel, and maintenance repair personnel being able maintain the home in tip top shape for you and your family in-between renters. They do a amazing job of making sure everything is done during a very short window. Check-out time is 10 am and departure instructions are supplied in your welcome letter and are also located on the refrigerator. Check-in time is set for 4 pm to allow them the time they need to prepare the home for your arrival.

We understand that there are times when you may need an early check-in time. We are happy to offer guaranteed early check-in if you have confirmed & paid for this additional service 2 weeks prior to arrival. This payment accepts us to compensate our home staff for prioritizing our home for your early arrival at 1 pm. As a courtesy to our service vendors, we ask that you please do not park at the home, drop off personal items, or ask our vendors if the home is ready yet if you do not choose to coordinate a guaranteed early check-in. We enjoy your understanding as we prepare our home for your hideaway!

There are 2 exterior cameras at the entrances to our home which are required by our insurance company both for your safety and ours.

Located in Avon, this vacation home is in a rural area and on the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Cape Hatteras National Seashore.
