OCEANFRONT Salvo - Colony Dr. - Imagine the ocean and dunes for as far as you can see; a place of refuge and a home for making memories with family and friends. This is SALVOCEAN, a home that was constructed for escaping the world.

The ground level has a concrete driveway, carport, and all weather entry/playroom with bunk bed. The second level has three bedrooms (one master with a private bath and two with a shared bath), and entertainment area with a TV with streaming service only. The third level has another master suite and a great room with a 42” flat screen TV. The great room is open and airy with cathedral ceiling, juniper paneling, and tons of windows that provide elegant ocean vistas and opens to a furnished sundeck and sizable screened porch with table and chairs for outdoor dining or taking in handsome sunrises and spectacular sunsets. Every bedroom has its own TV, so whether you prefer to watch tv, play games or read there is space for it for all. Perhaps a dip in the hot tub is just what you need!

Salvocean is a sanctuary in a magnificent neighborhood where you can walk, bicycle or visit the local ice cream store. It is a simple place, where you can relax and appreciate miles of sand and sea, whether you’re walking with your family pets or casting a rod to the surf. Vacation Rental Protection Plan: This required non-returnable $95 plan covers accidental damage within the home with a coverage limit of $3,000. It does not cover theft or willful misconduct. You must notify Surf or Sound Realty of any damage that occurs during your occupancy or this coverage will be void. Coverage is effective at time of check-in and ends at time of check-out.

When to book a Hatteras rental home & When to go:

  • Summer months are the most expensive season along the coast of NC. To book the best vacation home within your budget, we highly recommend reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • In the Hatteras area, The sooner your group can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best properties are booked early. Reserving your rental property six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
  • Hosts sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans. Ask your property manager if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
