SAILFISH IN AVON is a splendid 5 bedroom beach bungalow located on an ocean front cul de sac that is seconds away from beach access. You do not have to cross a street to go over the dunes.! Walk out the front door of Sailfish, go to the street, (S. Beachcomber) turn to your right and go north on S. Beachcomber). Go past the next door neighbor' s home and the wooden walkway to the beach is right after the neighbor s home. Turn right and go over the dunes on the wooden walkway to the alluring beach. We also accept family pets. There is a pet fee. Part of our remodel this year is new floor. NO carpet anywhere except for the stairs.
OUR OTHER RENOVATION includes NEWLY CONSTRUCTED. OUTSIDE STAIRS AND DECKS! We also have all stainless steel kitchen appliances. We have a Keurig coffee pot as well as a Mr. Coffee.
.Avon is a great village with a Food Lion, ice cream stores, gift stores, Studio 12 for pottery painting and terrific eateries. We also have a new CANDY STORE! Come spread your blanket on our enchanting beach. You are also within walking distance (3/4 mile on the beach) of the Avon Pier.
PLEASE NOTE THAT SEPTEMBER THRU APRIL IS A 3 NIGHT MINIMUM AND MAY THRU AUGUST IS A 7 NIGHT MINIMUM. PLEASE TEXT US IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION.

About the Area

Located in Avon, this cottage is near the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Cape Hatteras National Seashore.   • Booking websites frequently offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance.   • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you are away! Don't let crooks ruin your trip.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the rental to make sure you've collected all personal items. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, remember to take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a great time? Most rental management companies make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was amiss and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
