Set high on a dune top, this five-bedroom/six- and one-half-bath home offers direct, private access to the beach. Even closer is the private, heated pool and cabana on the ground level. There’s a convenient full bath next to the pool, two outdoor showers and a fish-cleaning table with water to clean your catch.

All the home’s bedrooms offer Intelligent TVs. Four of them are located on the first level: two queen masters, both with deck access; a king master featuring a separate tub and shower and a dual vanity; and a room with two single beds. A washer/dryer is located on this level, as is a den — a nice additional space with a couch and Intelligent TV. The final bedroom, a king master featuring a zero-entry accessible shower, is located on the second level and opens onto the home’s great room. Cathedral ceilings, tons of windows and an open floor plan enhance the space bringing everybody to together as you wind up for the day and wind down at nighttime. Gather in front of the Intelligent TV from new furnishings, that is if the ocean view outside doesn’t distract you. There’s plenty of room for more than one prepare in the cavernous, entirely equipped kitchen featuring all new appliances including two drink fridges. Appreciate those meals together at a dining table seating up to 10, with a four-seat card table and a three-stool eat-at counter providing additional seating. Step outside to discover a furnished deck with rockers and Adirondack chairs to let the ocean breeze and starlit sky blissfully carry you away.

Sticking to your budget:

  • Summertime is high season in Avon. Booking your Hatteras vacation rental in Fall or Spring months is our best tip for saving money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable properties.
  • The sooner your group can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are reserved very early. Reserving your rental property up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation home.
  • Property managers sometimes offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Property managers often offer customers an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional fuel expenses.   • Add the property manager's contact information to your phone. Understand and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • To make certain that damages are not attributed to your stay, inspect for any problem areas during arrival. text the rental manager right away to relay any damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, elevator or coffee maker. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent lots of difficulties.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a great source for finding the best local scenic spots.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking the rental when you are gone, just like you would at home.
  • Just prior to departing, complete a final walk-through to make sure you haven't forget anything. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave a review! Property owners rely on great reviews to stimulate more bookings. They'll be thankful for your feedback.
