SEMI-OCEANFRONT Avon - Sailfish Court - On a peaceful oceanside court on a generously landscaped corner lot, just one lot from the ocean, this traditional cedar-shake home with all-weather under home entry offers the best of the vacation amenities to shake off your work-a-day blues. At entry level is a game room with a pool table, 32" Intelligent TV/DVD, and a half bath. The second level features 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. Located on a private corner of this level's deck is a 6-person hot tub. Continuing upstairs, you'll find a cavernous great room surrounded by glass and dressed lightly in vibrant colors with gourmet-equipped kitchen. The 55” 4KHDTV intelligent home theater system with surround sound bar and DVD will keep you entertained. From two levels of decks and a rooftop perch, you'll be SEA-N-BLUE - water, that is. Both ocean breakers and soundside ripples are visible from the top floor. Be sure to catch the spectacular sunsets over the sound.

*Guests have access to Kinnakeet Shores Pool & Tennis courts. You will sign in with the attendant using the home name.

  • Booking your vacation rental in Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable properties. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • The earlier you can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation homes are reserved very early. Booking your vacation rental up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
  • Some property management companies offer discounts for veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Property managers usually offer guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional fuel expenses.   • Keep the property locked while you are gone! Don't let burglars ruin your family vacation.
  • Upon check-out, take a final walk-through to make sure you have not leave anything behind. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the rental one final time and look for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a terrific vacation? Many rental management companies make it easy for vacationers to provide comments. If your rental property and/or host was fantastic, they will likely appreciate your kind words.
