OCEANFRONT Salvo - Sand St. With the Atlantic waves just a fast, sandy walk away, it's time to succumb to A REEL ADDICTION. Appreciate the private pool, or relax in the hot tub. Step inside, and play a game of pool in the game room while watching your favorite show on the 38" flat screen TV with DVD player, or doze away an afternoon in one of four bedrooms on this level. Two share a full bath and feature a king and queen bed, TV/DVDs, and alluring ocean vistas. The other two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and TV/DVD and one with a pyramid bunk and a standard bunk and TV/DVD, have simple access to the full hall bath. On the top level you'll find the king master bedroom with TV/DVD, oceanfront vistas and deck access. Unwind with a movie in the great room on the 55" TV with soundbar, DVD player, and Netflix. Savor a seafood supper in the oceanfront dining area, or simply swap surf stories on the breezy sun deck with ocean vistas, and glimpses of a shipwreck right off the beach. A second dining table in the great room also converts into a poker table for another entertainment option. After your vacation is over, you’ll have a hard time shaking A REEL ADDICTION.
*Please note that this property has a pool that can be heated for $600. Pool heaters, when pool heat is purchased, are set to 80 degrees, but pool temperature cannot be guaranteed.
Dogs are welcome for a fee of $200/dog/week.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the $200 weekly fee will apply for each dog and will be added once your reservation is finalized.

Vacation Rental Protection Plan: This required non-returnable $95 plan covers accidental damage within the home with a coverage limit of $3,000. It does not cover theft or willful misconduct. Cost saving strategies:
- Summer months are the most expensive season in coastal NC. To find the most suitable rental home within your budget, we highly recommend booking in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular Hatteras attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
- Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
- Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for more information.
- Look for your local Hatteras area magazine when you check-in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great information, travel guides have deals for local accommodations, restaurants and tours.

- Keep the property locked while you're away! Don't let thieves ruin your holiday.
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all belongings. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Inspect the rental a final time and scan for damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take photographs of the rental to record its condition.
- Did your group have a terrific time? Most rental management companies make it easy for clients to provide reviews. If your property and/or property management company was terrific, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was out of order and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
