Stellar Vista is a beachfront property with spectacular oceanfront vistas and the beach just steps away! It provides the best of both worlds - a charming oceanside escape that's located along a peaceful cul-de-sac, but still within walking distance of the grocery store, stores, and eateries.

Savor the stellar vistas supplied by this octagon-design home, with the open living/entertainment area on the second level with a well-equipped kitchen, dining areas with tall ceilings and rustic wood beams, wall-to-wall vistas from ocean to sound, and a sizable deck. An ocean view master bedroom with a private full bathroom is also located on the second level. A spiral staircase continues up to the third floor, where a cavernous loft includes plenty of books, games, and an entertainment center.

The first level includes three bedrooms with vistas of the ocean, a full laundry room, and two full bathrooms. The first bedroom has two single beds, the second bedroom has a queen bed and private deck access, and the two bedrooms share a full bath in the hallway. The third bedroom has two singles, a private full bath, and private deck access. An broad deck with a bubbly hot tub wraps around the first floor. A concrete carport provides a fish cleaning table, a bags lift, access to the wooden beach boardwalk, an outside shower, and a charcoal grille.

You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking, which will be sent to your e-mail. You will not be able to check in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement.

Please note: Guests have access to the Club Hatteras Pool Facility. Additional details around this facility will be shared in your check-in e-mail and during the check-in process. The club is typically open mid-May to mid-October, depending on weather.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already supplied in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to family pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

About the Area

Located in Avon, this vacation home is on the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Surf's Up and Hatteras Island Boardsports are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

When to reserve a Hatteras rental & When to go:

  • The sooner you can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved early. Booking your vacation rental up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental home.
  • June, July, and August are high season in the Hatteras area. To book the most suitable vacation home within budget, we suggest booking in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at Hatteras restaurants, tours, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Property managers often offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for more information.
  • Find a copy of your local Hatteras visitors guide magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitors guide magazines contain money saving offers on local tours and attractions.

  • Keep the property locked while you're out! Don't let crooks ruin your family vacation.
  • Note any issues with the rental upon arrival, and immediately contact the owner. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are beneficial if damages are assessed.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful visitors bothering your home life. Apply the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and places you would've never otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the property to make sure you've collected everything. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property one final time and scan for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, remember to take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property owners rely on great reviews to compel new bookings. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your review and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
