Multi-generational families will adore the home’s ability to accommodate older family members, especially with the all-level elevator, an entry-way ramp and a first-level King ocean front bedroom with deck access and a semi-private bathroom which features a roll-in shower with a folding bench seat. The first level also reveals another bedroom with two double full beds; a half-bath; and a game room that offers a sports bar vibe with a pool table, three Intelligent TVs and a wet bar with full-size refrigerator and microwave to keep drinks and snacks at the ready. A slider just off this kitchenette reveals a covered deck hosting a six-person hot tub. Just below it, an broad paver patio surrounding a dune-protected pool offers hours of family fun under the sun or in the shade of a pergola.
The second level encompasses four primary bedrooms, all with Intelligent TVs and private baths. There are two oceanfront king master bedrooms, one with a Jacuzzi tub, that have access to a covered deck. Another king master and a double full master complete this level. The final bedroom, an ensuite king that features a Jacuzzi tub and spa-like bespoke-tiled shower is located on the third level, close to the action that unfolds in the home’s great room, dining and kitchen areas. Here, wood beamed vaulted ceilings and plenty of natural light create a space where interaction and conversation find a natural and simple-going flow. Avid cooks will appreciate the well-supplied kitchen, complete with two dishwashers, microwave, wet bar sink, six-burner gas range, enormous refrigerator for all of your groceries and a breakfast bar. Serve the feasts you prepare in the cavernous dining room where the ocean provides a excellent backdrop. It’s painless to sink into the living area’s comfortable seating for some after-dinner Intelligent TV watching and even easier to feel the lure of the upper-level deck. Hatteras rental home booking tips and tricks:
Getting the most from your budget:
- In the Hatteras area, The earlier your group can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best properties are reserved very early. Booking your rental property up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your rental home.
- Summer is the most expensive season in coastal NC. To get the best value, try shifting your group's vacation dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer warmer temperatures, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your family qualifies for a discount.
- Property managers frequently offer their guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.
- Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Hatteras area visitor guides which include money-saving offers, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
Use filters to narrow your search:
- Choose dates and spending budget.
- Determine how many beds and the bed configuration your family requires. Oceanfront Handicap Friendly House w\/ Private Pool, Hot Tub, and Elevator has 6 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is almost always accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, call the property manager before booking your home. Note that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches.
- Are you bringing the family pet? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your rental agreement! Extra fees or could be applied to your invoice.
- Visiting for a single attraction? Try a map search to locate nearby rentals.
- Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. .
During your stay:
- Be sure you get the property manager's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your . Store the host's information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Hosts are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
- Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property when you are away, just like you would at home.
- To make sure that damages aren't attributed to your family's visit, inspect the property for any problem areas when you arrive. message the rental manager immediately to report your findings. If there is a dispute, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud vacationers disrupting your home life. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and attractions you would have not otherwise known about!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can frequently help. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
- Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all personal items. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Did you have a wonderful vacation? Many rental managers make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was great, they would love to hear it. If anything was wrong and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
