Located mere steps from the beach with an unobstructed ocean view from dual sundecks, this oceanfront home is a hideaway you'll never forget. The first level has a king master bedroom with master bath, a second bedroom with one double and one single bed, and a full bathroom and laundry area off the hall. Two more king master bedrooms with baths are located on the 2nd floor. Wake up to ocean vistas from the ocean-side master bedroom. On the 2nd floor is a enormous, entirely outfitted eat-in kitchen with a dining table that seats 8 and is open to the living room with plus couches, with access to the oceanfront deck. Step out onto either of the oceanfront sundecks for vistas of the waves that will take your breath away or to appreciate the light from the close by lighthouse at nighttime. Unwind in the private hot tub off the kitchen to the music of the ocean. Offering all the basics to get you started on your vacation, such as toilet paper and paper towels, we're certain you'll be happy upon arrival. With access to a resort pool and spa, fish cleaning stations, unlimited beach access, private parking, and outside hot/cold showers make this the ideal choice for a calming vacation. About the Area

Located in Buxton, this cottage is on the beach. Buxton Woods Coastal Preserve and Outer Banks Beaches reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Uncle Eddy's Frozen Custard and 18-Hole Mini Golf and Buxton Seafood. Frisco Mini Golf and Go Karts and Surf's Up are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

  • Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • To find the best rental home within budget, we recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular Hatteras attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host whether your family qualifies for a special rate.
  • Property managers frequently offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses.   • Inspect the property one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take pictures of the property to record its condition.
