SEMI-OCEANFRONT Avon - Kinnakeet Shores - SUMMER SURFER provides an broad living area and with its location just one lot back from the ocean, summer surfing is closer than ever.
Take a dip in the private swimming pool, and even appreciate it at nighttime with multi-color LED lights and ambient lighting in the pool area. The first level features four bedrooms (two master), three full baths, a laundry room, and a game room complete with pool table, refrigerator, and a microwave. Plus, survey the blue water from one of four decks, the connecting screened porch, or 6 person hot tub. The family will savor the second level great room master suite with Jacuzzi for two, and convenient half bath. Plan to enjoy many a meal in the dining area or the breakfast nook, fresh from the kitchen (complete with two dishwashers).

When to go & When to book:
- To get the best value, try changing your family's Hatteras vacation dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer great temperatures, , and reduced traffic.
- Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
- Property management companies usually offer guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
- Find a copy of your local Hatteras area magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations.
