Ocean and sound vistas galore. In the morning surfers can check the ocean from the kitchen table. In the evening the sunset over the sound lights up the whole home. Just a short walk to the beach, then come back and savor the pool and hot tub. If you’ve had enough of the sun, relax on a comfortable couch with the company of our 46 inch flat screen TV on the 3rd floor or shoot some pool, foosball, or bumper pool in the game room. This home is ideally located near the best surfing spots on the East Coast and is entirely equipped to meet all of your comfort and entertainment needs.
This home is ideal for huge groups in need of bunk beds and is loaded with amenities! Ideal for church or business retreats, get-togethers, fishing, or surf trips, and enormous-family getaways. Very kid and adult friendly. The first level features a completely supplied game room in including a billiard table, René Pierre foosball table, bumper pool table, wet-bar/ mini kitchen with additional freezer, and a sitting area with a flat screen TV, as well as a bedroom with a pyramid bunk-bed, a full and half bathroom, and fully equipped laundry room. The second level has four bedrooms each containing two sets of bunk-beds, one of which is a pyramid (double on bottom). Each room has its own deck access with vistas of the sound or the ocean. Head on up to the third level and you will find a cavernous living area with a huge sectional couch, 46 inch flat screen TV with Blu-Ray player and surround sound, a solid mahogany dining table that seats 16, the master bedroom, a fresh kitchen with stainless steel appliances, as well as another closed-off playroom or office for those in need of some privacy.
You will adore your stay here!
NOTE: A new bridge has freshly been constructed on the soundside of our home which is not shown in these photos. The bridge lands on the other side of our street, not too far from our home. The view of the sunset over the sound is still pretty, but there IS a bridge there now! We also expect a bit of increased traffic noise once it is in use.

Tips and Tricks to get the optimal Hatteras rental home experience:
When to book a Hatteras rental home & When to go:
- Summer is the most expensive season in the Hatteras area. Book your vacation home in the Spring or Fall to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer.
- The sooner you can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked very early. Reserving your rental up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation home.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
- Property managers often offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.
- Look for your local Hatteras visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great articles, visitors guides contain deals for local accommodations, tours and attractions.
Use filters to search efficiently:
- Select a group leader, choose your vacation dates, and select a maximum budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and the configuration your group requires. Fully-Equipped Beach House W\/ Pool, Hot Tub, & Gorgeous Views has 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.
- Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is usually accessible online. If you don't see them listed, reach out to the host before you reserve your home. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds in living rooms. You'll need to work out what is right for your vacation.
- Looking for particular amenities? Most websites include amenity lists and search filters. Use these to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.
- Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before booking.
- Some rentals allow pets, and others don't. Allowable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional costs may apply. Ask your host about allowable pet guidelines before booking.
During your stay:
- We recommend storing the owner's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Upon check-in, document any damages to the property and immediately contact the property manager. Keep records of all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, intercom or washer/dryer. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents a lot of difficulties.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are a terrific source for finding the best local beaches and restaurants.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
- Protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home while you are out, just like you would at home.
- Re-check the rental property to make sure that you've packed all of your belongings at departure. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- After your trip, leave feedback! Property managers rely on great feedback to compel new bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your feedback find their best vacation rental. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
