Ocean and sound vistas galore. In the morning surfers can check the ocean from the kitchen table. In the evening the sunset over the sound lights up the whole home. Just a short walk to the beach, then come back and appreciate the pool and hot tub. If you’ve had enough of the sun, relax on a comfortable couch with the company of our 46 inch flat screen TV on the 3rd floor or shoot some pool, foosball, or bumper pool in the game room. This home is ideally located near the best surfing spots on the East Coast and is entirely equipped to meet all of your comfort and entertainment needs.
This home is ideal for huge groups in need of bunk beds and is loaded with amenities! Ideal for church or business retreats, get-togethers, fishing, or surf trips, and sizable-family getaways. Very kid and adult friendly. The first level features a completely supplied game room in including a billiard table, René Pierre foosball table, bumper pool table, wet-bar/ mini kitchen with additional freezer, and a sitting area with a flat screen TV, as well as a bedroom with a pyramid bunk-bed, a full and half bathroom, and fully equipped laundry room. The second level has four bedrooms each containing two sets of bunk-beds, one of which is a pyramid (double on bottom). Each room has its own deck access with vistas of the sound or the ocean. Head on up to the third level and you will find a cavernous living area with a enormous sectional couch, 46 inch flat screen TV with Blu-Ray player and surround sound, a solid mahogany dining table that seats 16, the master bedroom, a chic kitchen with stainless steel appliances, as well as another closed-off playroom or office for those in need of some privacy.
You will adore your stay here!
NOTE: A new bridge has freshly been constructed on the soundside of our home which is not shown in these photos. The bridge lands on the other side of our street, not too far from our home. The view of the sunset over the sound is still striking, but there IS a bridge there now! We also expect a bit of increased traffic noise once it is in use.

Our top Hatteras vacation rental booking tips and tricks:
How to get the best rental home value:
- Summertime is high season in Rodanthe. To find the best value, change your family's Hatteras vacation to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer warmer weather, , and greatly reduced traffic.
- Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your group qualifies for a price reduction.
- Property management companies usually offer renters an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for details.
- Often, property management companies supply Hatteras area visitors guide magazines which often include special deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Make a plan and pick your Hatteras rental home:

- Traveling with pets? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement! Additional pet fees or charges could be applied to your invoice.
Additional considerations:
- Be sure you get the owner's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental property.
- To ensure that no damages are attributed to your family's visit, inspect the rental for any problem areas during check in. Contact the property manager right away to document any issues. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Hosts are there to help! Don't be shy to ask questions during your stay.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable vacationers bothering your peaceful home life. Practice the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and scenic spots you would have not otherwise known!
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Lock your rental home while you are out and about. Protect your property!
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the property to make sure you've collected all personal items. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Leave feedback! Hosts rely on excellent ratings to inspire future bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your experience find their best vacation rental. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to solve it.
