SEMI-OCEANFRONT Rodanthe - South Shore Dr. - Visualize a vacation home with a short walk to the beach, a peaceful location on a peaceful cul-de-sac ideal for families, and all the amenities you'll need for a great vacation, you'll have SOUTH SHORE DREAMS.

Take a dip in the private pool or appreciate a break from the waves in the dreamy hot tub. Inside, step up to the second level from the entryway, and you'll be greeted with 3 bedrooms. Two master bedrooms, one queen and one king, each with TV/DVD, are found on this level. The king master bathroom also features a Jacuzzi tub. The third has a double bed and accesses the full hall bath. A half level up is a convenient half bath and a bedroom with two bunk beds. The top level offers ocean and sound vistas galore from the broad great room. Curl up in front of the TV/DVD and savor oceanview dining in the dining area or on the screened porch. Head up to the loft and enjoy ocean vistas. Once you've started the day with an ocean sunrise and ended it with a sound sunset, you'll really feel like your SOUTH SHORE DREAMS have been fulfilled.

*Please note that this property has a pool that can be heated for $600. Pool heaters, when pool heat is purchased, are set to 80 degrees, but pool temperature cannot be guaranteed.

Dogs are welcome for a fee of $200/dog/week.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the $200 weekly fee will apply for each dog and will be added once your reservation is finalized.

Vacation Rental Protection Plan: This required non-returnable $95 plan covers accidental damage within the home with a coverage limit of $3,000. It does not cover theft or willful misconduct. How to get the best rental home value:

  • Summer time is high season in the Hatteras area. To get the largest vacation home within budget, we recommend booking in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular attractions.
  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer renters an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.

  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking the property while you are away, just like you would back home.
  • Re-check the property to make sure that you've packed all personal items at check-out. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental one final time and look for damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, ensure that you take photos of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a fantastic stay? Most rental websites make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property manager was great, they would love to hear about it.
