Soundfront Quinnebaug captures Frisco's Indian heritage. Located in a peaceful cul-de-sac of exclusive Sunset Village, Quinnebaug has amazing sound access for windsurfing and watersports enthusiasts via a private boardwalk and beach. A modest community boat dock and ramp are just a min.'s walk from your door. The ground level has two carports, an outside shower, an accessibility-friendly ramp to the under-home entry, and electric stairlifts to the upper floors. Enter through the formal entrance to the first level great room, where you'll find cathedral ceilings, fresh furnishings, wood floors, an entertainment area, and access to sound-front sun decks.

A enormous kitchen with a breakfast bar is ready to help you provide your dinner guests with meals and snacks. Vistas abound through the dining area's bow window and the sound-front screened porch. The first-floor den has a futon with a semi-private bath, an accessibility-friendly toilet, and hall access. Head upstairs where the first and second bedrooms share a bath. The third bedroom has a private bath, a sound-front garden tub, an accessibility-friendly toilet, a stall shower, and a secluded covered deck. Quinnebaug really is the jewel of all homes.

Things to know:
You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your e-mail. You will not be able to check-in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement.

Please note: Guests have access to the Club Hatteras Pool Facility. Additional details around this facility will be shared in your check-in e-mail and during the check-in process. The club is typically open Mid-May to Mid-October, depending on weather.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already supplied in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to family pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is complimentary parking available for 3 cars.

About the Area

Located in Sunset Village, a neighborhood in Frisco, this vacation home is in a rural area and on the waterfront. Frisco Native American Museum and Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Frisco Mini Golf and Go Karts and Buxton Seafood. Uncle Eddy's Frozen Custard and 18-Hole Mini Golf and Surf's Up are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

When to reserve a Hatteras rental & When to go:

  • To get the best rental home for your budget, we recommend reserving in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your family qualifies for a discount.
  • Booking websites typically offer renters an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for specifics.

  • Protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are gone, just like you would at home.
  • Re-check the rental property to make sure that you've packed all personal items at departure. Make sure to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
