Being so close to the beach really makes the vacation calming and enchanting! This family-friendly home enjoys an unbeatable location within walking distance of eateries and the Ferry, as well as local marinas for fishing expeditions or boat units. You can take a nightly walk on the sand after dinner, catch sunrises, sunsets, and pop back to the home with no hassle during your beach days. Other great attractions include the Graveyard Of The Atlantic Museum, Frisco Native American Museum & Natural History Center, Frisco Mini Golf & Go Karts, Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, and marinas.

When it comes to relaxation, this sweet getaway does not miss! Treat yourself to a calming bath in the private hot tub located on the screened porch on the ground level. Here, you will also encounter an enclosed outdoor shower that would be ideal for rinsing off the sand after a day at the beach. The deck upstairs provides you with a fantastic spot to admire the entire Milky Way at nighttime, as Hatteras is in a dark zone to encourage the turtles to find the beaches in the summer.

The main living space features an air-conditioned open floor plan that seamlessly combines all living spaces into one. Finding the best rental experience:

Getting the best value:

  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is an excellent way to save money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable homes.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host whether your family qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Property management companies usually offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.
  • Many property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Hatteras area visitor guides which will include coupons, either offered independently by local companies, or through a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Hatteras visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Filter your rental search:

  • Begin by selecting your the best vacation week and a budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the configuration your family needs. Cute home close to beach with private hot tub, deck, electric vehicle charger has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts is regularly available on booking websites. If not, call the property manager before booking your rental. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • Some rentals allow pets, and others don't. Allowable types of pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added fees may apply. Ask the property manager about allowable breeds and types before booking.
  • Visiting for a specific attraction or event? Use a map search to find nearby rentals.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before reserving a rental.

During your stay:

  • Add the owner's contact information to your smartphone. Understand and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Hosts are available to help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Lock your rental home while you're away. Protect your property!
  • To make certain no damages are linked to your family's visit, record any problem areas during check in. Make contact with the rental manager right away to record any damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often an excellent resource to find the best local beaches and restaurants.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can often help. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the property to reconfirm you've collected all of your things. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did you have a great time? Many rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was great, they would love to hear it. If anything was defective and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
