The home is surrounded by water on three sides that, from the home’s wrap-around decks or enclosed porch, gives you a ship’s bow point of view. Inside, comfortable surroundings provide a calming vibe that makes your vacation even more restorative. The bedrooms include a first level queen bedroom and a king master featuring a private half bath, both with sliding glass doors to the sunporch, a full-over-full bunk room for the kids, and a top-level queen master suite that features handsome wooden pitched ceilings. The great room features a 50-inch Intelligent TV, but there is no need to battle over the remote; another 40-inch Intelligent TV is in the lower-level den.   • Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summertime is high season in Avon. To find the best vacation home within budget, we recommend reserving in the Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite Hatteras restaurants and activities.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Property managers typically offer renters an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for additional information.
  • Find a copy of your local Hatteras visitors guide magazine upon arrival.
