Feel the wonders of Island living when visiting at Frisco Fantasy. In a modest town, located between Buxton and Hatteras, is the village of Frisco (formerly known as Trent). This area is rich in history and Hatteras Island lore. The Hatterasman, the subdivision where this home is located, is famously named after one of the most classic books ever published about the Island. This Island-famed work of literature was also awarded the 1958 Mayflower Award.

Only 700ft away from the ocean, experience a beach opportunity like no other in this Island hideaway home! At nighttime, when the stars come out, take in the midnight vistas, map the skies full of constellations, make a wish on a shooting star, or spot the Milky Way on the top-level deck. Just inside is a comfortable living room that is attractively laid out for having evening game, or movie, nights with the whole crew.

Step inside the kitchen area and there is the dining room with even more seating space that sits up to eight hungry visitors! Even more fun is gathering around for family-style dining! Directly below is the 'dreamiest' floor in this Fantasy. With four individual rooms and six different beds to choose from, you'll have plenty of options for relaxation and comfort. The king and queen bedrooms share a bath while the other two rooms, each with two single-sized beds, have access to the hall bathroom. For additional bathroom space, the upper level also includes a half bath.

With the tackle stores, museums, Diamond Shoals Point, Hatteras Lighthouse, art galleries, and eateries you'll be living the truest Island experience at this Frisco Fantasy.

• June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. To get the most suitable rental home for your budget, we strongly suggest reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite Hatteras restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
• Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
