OCEAN SIDE Salvo - Jolly Roger Rd. - The crown jewel of your next vacation is sure to be this SUMMER PALACE. Conveniences abound, starting with the clear blue private swimming pool and an inviting hot tub.

For indoor entertainment, you can getaway to the broad ground level game room to keep everybody in your royal family busy, including a pool table, TV/DVD player, and wet bar with refrigerator and microwave.

There are four comfortable master bedrooms to choose from, three of which are on the second level. Two queen masters and one pyramid bunk master await you, all featuring TVs and DVD players. On the top-level, you can retire in the king master bedroom, featuring a TV, DVD player, and Jacuzzi tub.

The top-level great room provides a comfortable gathering place for your clan. Family feasts can comfortably be prepared in the cavernous kitchen and adored in the adjacent dining area. After a full day of vacation fun, everybody will feel like royalty while calming on the regal roof observation deck with sun-soaked vistas of the ocean and sound.

Sticking to a budget:

  • Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer months are the most expensive season along the coast of NC. Reserve your Hatteras rental property in Fall or Spring to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Property management companies typically offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.

  • To make certain no damages are linked to your visit, record any problem areas when you arrive. text the property manager immediately to report any damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be helpful.

  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • At departure, complete a walk-through to make sure you haven't forget any personal items. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Please make sure to walk through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, remember to take photos of the rental to record its condition.
  • Leave feedback! Hosts rely on great feedback to compel more bookings. They'll be thankful for your feedback.
