Head south along the Cape Hatteras National Seashore to the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, a little over 20 miles away, with miles of glorious beach along the way. There are tons of watersport opportunities close by as well.


At home, start the day with coffee and a glorious sunrise view from the top-level observation deck, then head downstairs to the swing on the screened porch for some peaceful time before the day gets started.
