OCEANFRONT Waves - Wimble Shores North - Your troubles will seem worlds away when you're living on CLOUD 9. This centrally located oceanfront home has a lot to offer besides the front row ocean vistas. Pull up in the driveway and you'll discover the shining private pool, indulgent hot tub, and painless beach access. Head up to the second level and you'll find the convenient laundry area and four comfortable bedrooms, all with TVs. There are two queen bedrooms that share a full bath, and a double bedroom and pyramid w/trundle bedroom that access a hall bath. Move up to the top floor and you'll find the sunny great room and kitchen with additional seating at the bar, the dining area, a half bath, and a cozy living area with 55" HDTV satellite system with sound bar. Naturally, the vistas from CLOUD 9 are out of this world, particularly on the top level's broad sun deck. Savor your morning coffee in this cavernous area with unobstructed vistas of the most dazzling sunrises the east coast has to offer. Spend a little time on CLOUD 9 and fulfill your vacation dreams.

New for 2023: A queen bedroom and a double bedroom have been converted to kings.

  • Summer is high season in Waves. Book your Hatteras rental property in Fall or Spring to enjoy beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Property managers sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Booking websites typically offer their guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses.   • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the property to confirm you've collected everything. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property managers rely on good feedback to stimulate new reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.
