Striking canal front home with 1/2 acre grassy lot and 200 feet of waterfront. Only a 3 mile drive to frisco beach or the 4x4 access ramp if you want a day at the beach. You can bring your boat and use the economical boat ramp that is 500 feet away. You can also launch your kayak or paddle board right from our dock and appreciate the exceptional sunset vistas over the sound.

We book Sunday - Sunday. This had been a private home, this is our first year on the rental market!

Rental does not include use of boat parked in driveway.

About the Area

Located in Frisco, this vacation home is on the waterfront. Scotch Bonnet Marina and Frisco Mini Golf and Go Karts are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Frisco Native American Museum and Buxton Seafood. Uncle Eddy's Frozen Custard and 18-Hole Mini Golf and Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum are also worth visiting. Discover the area's water adventures with jet skiing, kayaking, and water skiing nearby, or enjoy the great outdoors with horse riding.

Sticking to a budget:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Hatteras area. Reserving a rental home in Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • The earlier your group can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation home up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your rental.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Booking websites often offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.

If you don't see them listed, contact the property management company before you reserve your rental. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull out couches in living rooms.
  • If there's an individual Hatteras destination you love, browse rentals that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking
  • Some rentals allow pets, but others don't. Acceptable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added fees may apply. Ask the host about allowable breeds and types before booking.

During your stay:

  • Review arrival and departure procedures before leaving home. Save the directions to your phone, and take a printed copy.
  • Upon arrival, note any issues with the rental property and immediately contact the property manager. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, stereo or kitchen appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents quite a few problems.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often an incredible resource to find the best local scenic spots.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking the property when you are out, just like you would at home.
  • Just before checking out, take a final walk-through to make sure you haven't leave anything behind. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental one final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, take photographs of the rental to record its condition.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property managers rely on good reviews to propel future reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
